There are two bits of good news for people who had been waiting for console versions of Azure Flame Studio and CE-Asia’s Banner of the Maid. First, Switch and PlayStation 4 release windows are still 2020. But now, another console is joining the party. In the latest announcement, an Xbox One release was confirmed. Way back in 2018, only Banner of the Maid Switch, PS4, and PC releases had been announced. Aside from the confirmation, no other details about what the console release could offer or entail.

However, while the game has taken a bit of time to make the jump to new platforms, the PC version has been getting quite a bit of support. It launched in China in May 2019 and showed up in English in North America and Europe in February 2020. Since then, it has received additional updates and add-ons. For example, Mu Zhiyun and her pirates are now available, with the pirate units able to steal with Heroic Attacks. That first bit of DLC costs $4.99.

As a reminder, Banner of the Maid lets people help Pauline Bonaparte as she works alongside famous real and fictional characters and fights through a revolution. It is an isometric, turn-based strategic-RPG.

Banner of the Maid Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One ports will launch in 2020. The game is immediately available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese on PCs via Steam.
