In the case of the Banpresto, Nuicolle, and Ichibansho Figure pop up shop, we already know what to expect since Bandai Namco already started to set things up. While the location isn’t open in Mitsuwa yet, visitors can already see inside. It is located in the back of the store at the right, next to the One Piece Card Game storefront and Pastry House Hippo bakery. Products are already on shelves. Some of the Nuicolle plush include items from Blue Lock, Chainsaw Man, Dan Da Dan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Hazbin Hotel

As for The Gundam Base Chicago, we know it will be a 3,000 square foot store that sells merchandise based on the series. This will be a place to pick up gunpla models and related items. That will be open during normal mall hours (11am-8pm CT). It will also mark the first US location of that line of stores. As far as figures go, some from Bleach, Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball, Frieren, Godzilla, Gundam, Kaiju No 8, My Hero Academia, Naruto, One Piece, Sakamoto Days, and Yu Yu Hakusho lined the walls.

Here are some early photos of that location.

Previously, a Tamagotchi pop up shop appeared in that spot.

The Banpresto, Nuicolle, and Ichibansho Figure pop up shop will open on October 12, 2025 in Mitsuwa Plaza in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and The Gundam Base store will launch in Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont, Illinois sometime in Winter 2025.
