Barry Burton Joins Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D With Magnum In Hand

What? What is this? It’s Barry Burton, the latest character to join Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. The S.T.A.R.S. survivor packs a sniper rifle and his trusty magnum. He’s ready to punch Majini and kick Los Ganados to the ground.

He joins previously announced characters: Chris Redfield, Jack Krauser, Hunk, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Claire Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers. That would make Barry the eighth playable character. According to the ESRB, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D the Nintendo 3DS game has "eight protagonists."

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D comes out on June 28 in North America.
