Battle Even More Bugs When Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain Launches On April 11, 2019

Get ready to shout, “EDF!” Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain has an April 11, 2019 release date. There will be a $59.99 standard edition, which only includes the game, and a $89.99 Ultimate Edition that has an extra mission and “critical weapon.” Preordering either one will give people extra costumes and weapons.

As a reminder, one of the newest features in Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain is the new Prowl Rider unit. This character can rappel around a battlefield with the PA-Gear. If you come upon an insect and use the E-Needle, you basically control their minds and gain the ability to ride them. This lets you use them as a tank to attack their own kind.

In addition to the release date, a new Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain trailer has been released.

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will appear on the PlayStation 4 on April 11, 2019.
