The Nintendo Switch will be getting another multiplayer game very soon. When the Japanese eShop updates on May 18, 2017, Battle Force Mekuru will join the system’s library. It will be ¥980. Thanks to the Switch being a region-free system where people can easily access different regions’ eShops, people will be able to pick it up immediately if they’d like.

In Battle Sports Mekuru, four characters race around a map covered with tiles. Your goal is to ground-pound them to claim territory and turn the tiles to your color. The person with the most squares when time runs out wins. There are different stadium maps, with a pool that has waves shown in the trailer, and you can pick up power-ups to give yourself an edge against your opponents.

Battle Sports Mekuru will receive a worldwide release. It was first revealed during the April 12, 2017 Nintendo Direct.
