Bayonetta 2 To Be Sold Without The Original Bayonetta

When people purchased Bayonetta 2 for the Nintendo Wii U after its October 2014 release date, they weren’t getting one game. They received two, as the original Bayonetta was included on an additional disc. To celebrate Bayonetta’s inclusion in Super Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2 is being rereleased on its own.

Bayonetta 2 will be $29.99 when sold separately. These new discs will be available in stores and online on February 19. Previously, it was $59.99 for the two-pack that included both games, or $49.99 for a digital copy in the Nintendo eShop. The original Bayonetta is available in the Nintendo eShop for $29.99. A special promotion was previously in effect that allowed people who purchased digital copies to get both for $59.98.

This new run of Bayonetta 2 physical copies will coincide with the appearance of Bayonetta in Super Smash Bros. She will be added as a fighter to the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U game this February.
