When I played through the first area in Deus Ex: Human Revolution I tried stealth and straight combat. I didn’t try picking up a sentry turret and using it against the enemies, though. If you have the right augmentations (presumably a strength boost) grabbing a turret can be a viable strategy.

Whether you get through the level quietly or by throwing turrets at people, Zeke is waiting at the end. The gameplay switches and you have a chance to talk the mercenary out of killing a hostage.
