Ben Schwarz will be joining co-stars James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Jim Carrey in the upcoming live-action hybrid. Other than his role in Parks & Rec, Ben Schwartz has done voicing on classic characters including Dewey Duck in Disney Channel’s current reboot of Duck Tales. He’ll also voice Leonardo in Nickelodeon’s Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

As far as film appearances go, Schwartz has recently appeared in films such as the anarchic thriller Blue Iguana and is set to appear next in the Kevin Hart-Tiffany Haddish comedy, Night School. A little known fact about Schwartz is that he was also credited under “Vocal Consultants” in Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ BB-8.

Sonic the Hedgehog’s film by Paramount Pictures releases on November 15, 2019.
