Because of how Acheron in Honkai: Star Rail uses her Slashed Dream stacks instead of Energy to charge her Ultimate, she excels in teams that primarily consist of Nihility characters. In general, she works well with anyone who can debuff enemies, as that’s how she can recharge her Ultimate faster.
The bulk of Acheron’s utility comes from her Ultimate. Unlike other characters, she does not rely on Energy. Instead, when she gets nine Slashed Dream stacks, you’ll be able to use Slashed Dream Cries in Red. She gets a Slashed Dream stack every time you inflict a debuff onto an enemy. This means that she works exceptionally well with Nihility characters. The game reinforces this with her This Abyss Trace, which will give a DMG boost depending on how many Nihility units are in her party. This does mean that you will need to have built Nihility characters on her teams if you want to properly use Acheron in Honkai: Star Rail.

- Kafka | Black Swan | Acheron | Sustain
This is a highly aggressive Nihility team that combines Kafka and Black Swan’s DoT damage with Acheron’s Ultimate DMG. Because DoT effects count as debuffs in the game, you’ll be able to build stacks for Acheron every time Kafka or Black Swan attacks. While you can use any Preservation or Abundance unit as your sustain for this team, I highly suggest characters like Huohuo, Luocha, Gallagher, or Fu Xuan. This is because they’re relatively SP-neutral or SP-positive. In Gallagher’s case, his Ultimate can debuff the enemy, which helps Acheron build her stacks. - Acheron | Silver Wolf | Pela | Fu Xuan
Pela and Silver Wolf are also great characters to run with Acheron. Fu Xuan is a very SP-neutral sustain, and as a Preservation unit, she can use Trend of the Universal Market. This Light Cone causes the Burn debuff when she receives an enemy attack. Because Preservation units have a higher natural aggro than Nihility units, she should, in theory, be the one getting most of the damage. Even without the aggro or Light Cone, Fu Xuan can offer a Crit Rate buff for Acheron. - Acheron | Silver Wolf | Sparkle | Fu Xuan
This is a party that works if you have Acheron at E2. At E2, she only needs a single Nihility unit to max out the DMG bonus from her Trace. Sparkle is a great support for Acheron because she can raise Crit DMG, as well as give her more turns. However, you can substitute her with Bronya or Ruan Mei if you like. Silver Wolf helps to debuff enemies for Acheron’s Ultimate, but you can replace her with Pela. - Acheron | Guinaifen | Pela | Gallagher
This is a more F2P friendly team, as Guinaifen, Pela, and Gallagher are all 4-star characters. Guinaifen and Pela can debuff the enemies with their Skill and Ultimate, respectively. Meanwhile, Gallagher can also debuff enemies while providing heals. Acheron is, as you can expect, the main DPS so her job is just to use her Skill and Ultimate whenever she can.
