Fantasian: Neo Dimension is one of the toughest, most traditional turn-based JRPGs in a long time. If you are looking for a title that will challenge you, this is the one. You can offset some of the difficulty of this experience by using the best party members and characters in Fantasian: Neo Dimension. While you can use anyone, these are the ones we recommend.

Best Party Member in Fantasian for Tanking: Zinikr

To be clear, you can absolutely use any characters you want in this JRPG. Don’t let this list deter you. That said, there are some party members that are more beneficial overall to the team, which can be helpful here. Tanking, and defensiveness in general, is an intriguing area that I think is a bit weaker than it should be, so your options are limited.

That said, Zinikr does a decent job at tanking and defense. Taunt is great for keeping aggro on him and, honestly, almost required for some bosses in my opinion. Then there is his Guard ability, which for some reason other party members aren’t able to, which mitigates damage well.

Best Party Member for Healing: Kina

Healing is, fortunately, a bit better than tanking in this game. A lot of characters are able to heal, including the protagonist Leo. That said, the best overall healer is Kina who essentially acts like the White Mage of this group. She has the most powerful healing spells, plus great offensive skills like Holy.

Best Party Member for Damage: Cheryl

Finally, there is the damage department when it comes to the best characters and party members in Fantasian. This is by far the most open group, as everyone can do generally pretty solid damage. That said, I have seen some broken setups when it comes to Cheryl. Her summons are capable of dealing an intense amount of damage, especially with buffs and the right gear. Better yet, a lot of her abilities are area-of-effect ones, so they make for great ways to deal with lots of foes at once.
