To understand how to build teams around Dr Ratio, you have to first know the intricacies of his kit. For starters, Dr Ratio heavily makes use of follow-up attacks. The more debuffs an enemy has, the higher the chances are for Dr Ratio to launch a powerful follow-up attack after his Skill. He also get a Crit Rate and Crit DMG boost for every debuff the enemy has. So it stands to reason that he plays very well with Nihility characters, as they mostly work by debuffing enemies.
- Dr Ratio | Welt | Yukong | Luocha
This is a mono-Imaginary team in which Dr Ratio is the main DPS, Welt is the sub-DPS and buffer, Yukong is the support, and Luocha is the sustain. Because both Welt and Dr Ratio will use their Skill every turn, this is a very SP-intensive party. You can replace Yukong with Hanya to mitigate that, or Silver Wolf to plant an Imaginary Weakness. If you want to use Yukong, then she just needs to be there for her passive Imaginary DMG boost and occasionally use her Ultimate (if you have her at E6). - Dr Ratio | Yukong | Asta | Natasha
This is a slightly less premium team in which Dr Ratio acts as the main DPS. Asta and Yukong are his supports, and Natasha is the sustain. This team does not require E6 Yukong because it will be a little less SP-heavy. - Dr Ratio | Topaz | Pela | Huohuo
Dr Ratio and Topaz work very well together because she can increase the party’s follow-up attack. You can replace Pela with Silver Wolf if you have her, since Silver Wolf can debuff the enemy a lot. As for Huohuo, she is obviously the sustain but she is also a good choice due to her Ultimate’s buff and Energy recharge. - Dr Ratio | Bronya | Ruan Mei | Huohuo
This is a Dr Ratio hyper carry team in which Ruan Mei is actually going to provide the debuffs for him. Her Thanatoplum Rebloom is a debuff but since it’s tied to her Ultimate, you’re going to need a Ruan Mei with good Energy Regeneration Rate. Huohuo can help, but she doesn’t give that much Energy. Bronya’s job is to buff Dr Ratio, as well as give him more turns. - Dr Ratio | Yukong | Guinaifen | Fu Xuan
You can technically replace Fu Xuan with another sustain here, but she’s a useful unit to run with Dr Ratio because she can buff his Crit Rate. Since DoTs technically count as debuffs in the game, you can run Dr Ratio with a DoT character. Not only will this trigger his follow-up attacks more often, but you can also deal damage at the start of the enemy’s turn.
