There are quite a few ways to build characters in Granblue Fantasy Relink to ensure they’re most effective, and some of the builds for the stalwart knight Siegfried can make him an essential ally.
Best Siegfried Builds in Granblue Fantasy Relink
Now, the best builds for any given character are always subjective and based on the role you want to play. Siegfried is a single-target character that relies on counters and empowering himself through buffs. Generally, he is a character you want to play as, as opposed to having him as an NPC in your party. The AI in Granblue Fantasy Relink is decent enough, but Siegfried will be much better in the capable hands of a player.
There are two ways to build Siegfried when playing him, and that is as a single-target bruiser or a tank. You may be wondering why Siegfried would be assigned a tank role over a character like Vane, and that is because he has a counter. Equipping him with a Sigil like Provoke will effectively designate him as your tank. Using this in combination with L’Ombre d’Hier, which is Siegfried’s counter skill, makes it a formidable combination.

Best Skills for Tanking
Again, these skills should be used in combination with an upgraded Provoke Sigil. This will require a lot of precision in behalf of the player, and rely on you to not only perfect dodge but perfect guard in most situations. In the end-game this build will not be as feasible unless if you dedicate time to really learning the strengths and weaknesses of this character.

Best Skills for DPS/Bruiser
This build allows for more relaxed play when accompanying friends in Quest Counter missions, or even having Siegfried accompany the party as an NPC. While you will be required to perform perfectly timed button presses, there is a lot more leeway here since you aren’t directing the ire of any boss or group of enemies in your direction.
