Best V Rising Server Settings

One of the best parts about the V Rising 1.0 release is the plethora of new options available to players. Despite being a primarily online multiplayer experience, there are ways to play alone or just with a couple of friends you prefer. Here are the best V Rising server settings we recommend to everyone.

How to Make a Private Server in V Rising

If you want to be able to tweak the server settings in this online vampire survival game, you’ll want to make a private or rented server. I don’t suggest renting a server, as that will definitely cost you some money. However, you can make a free private world for you and your friends (or just you alone like I did). To do this, select “play” and then “private game.”

Best V Rising Server Settings

Once you are ready to make a private game with you and your friends (or solo), it is now time to pick your V Rising server settings. It all starts with selecting the difficulty level. There are three options: relaxed, normal, and brutal. If you want a relaxing experience, pick relaxed. Otherwise, I suggest starting with normal. Only pick Brutal if you are an experienced player.

Then, you can also pick advanced game settings. Here are some of the server settings I recommend depending on your goal:

  • Solo Play: Toggle on if you are playing by yourself only (not required).
  • Max Concurrent Players: 60 (just in case).
  • Clan Size: 20.
  • Allow Global Chat.
  • Permission to Loot Dead Players: Either clan members or only self (unless doing PVP).
  • Mortium Rift Incursion Interval: Minimum.
  • Blood-Bound Equipment: On.
  • Day Length: Whatever you want.
  • Daytime Length: Swedish Winter, Short or Medium.

V Rising is now available for PC in its 1.0 release. It will also come out for PS5 later in 2024.
