What is Core Dust in Nikke: Goddess of Victory?

Core Dust in Nikke: Goddess of Victory is one of the many upgrade materials needed for your Nikkes. In the universe, the substance comes from defeated raptures and contains their combat information.

Players will need to spend Core Dust to level up past the ten levels of a Nikke. As you must constantly evolve your Nikkes, Core Dust will be a vital resource as the game goes on.

Method 1: Outpost Defense

Farming Core Dust from your Outpost Defense is the simplest and most reliable method of acquiring the material. This is a passive system in which an offscreen battle takes place, earning you goods. These goods include credits, crafting and upgrade materials, equipment, and Core Dust. Players increase their outpost defense level by completing campaign missions.

Also, the “Wipeout” option will give you two hours of output, and you will receive one free daily attempt. Lastly, as your Outpost Defense possesses a limited storage amount, be sure to claim your rewards once or twice a day to ensure you don’t lose any.

As mentioned above, players can upgrade their Outpost Defense and earnings by completing missions in the campaign mode. Because the demand for player ability will continue to grow as the game progresses, players are advised to advance the campaign as quickly as possible.

Method 2: Campaign Missions

As the campaign is central to Nikke: Goddess of Victory, it naturally possesses Core Dust as a major reward. This is a useful method of earning Core Dust, as you will always be playing along with the campaign anyway.

However, this method is limited by the fact that there are a finite number of missions in the campaign and the fact that rewards vary across levels.

Method 3: Missions

Missions are the cycling list of tasks for players in Nikke: Goddess of Victory. By clicking on the exclamation point on the top right of the screen, players will see a list of the game’s many challenges and rewards. This is a reliable method for farming Core Dust, as you will always earn it for getting 20 daily mission points.

Daily and Weekly missions are usually simple tasks such as clearing Interceptions and using the simulation. Main and challenge missions tend to take a step up in terms of their demands, such as advancing in the campaign or the Tribe Tower.

Method 4: Event Missions

Nikke: Goddess of Victory frequently does events featuring special missions, mini-games, and even crossovers with the likes of Nier: Automata and Chainsaw Man. Because of their scale, these events become a great way to earn Core Dust. However, because these events vary widely in terms of their scale and the rewards offered, this is a more indirect way of earning Core Dust.

For Example, the recent Nostalgia event featured a “gacha” game that let players roll for a random item. As another example, the Red Ash event featured a set of many new story missions similar to the campaign. Additionally, all of these events are temporary and cycle through often.

Method 5: Cash Shop

If all else fails or you find yourself in a pinch, the Cash Shop can be found in the bottom left of your character. The store features a cycling list of daily, weekly, and monthly offers for you to buy. While these offers are randomly generated, the number and frequency at which they refresh guarantee you will have a short wait for Core Dust to be on the menu.

Of course, as this option involves spending real-world money, your use of this method depends on how much you, as a player, are willing to spend.

Nikke: Goddess of Victory is available for iOS, Android, and Windows.
