Bethesda is celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls with a giveaway. Everyone will be able to claim a free The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition PC copy. The only catches are, it will only be available for free on March 25, 2019 and you must use Bethesda’s launcher.

To claim a free The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind copy, people need to log into Bethesda.net. (Making an account is free.) You then need to enter the code “TES25TH-MORROWIND” to get a copy of the game. After that, downloading Bethesda’s launcher to your PC will allow you to play the full game whenever you would like.

This is not the only planned freebie during the anniversary celebration. The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr Prologue Quest is now free. A The Elder Scrolls Online free play week will begin on March 28, 2019. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC owners will all be able to play the game for free until April 3, 2019.

The Elder Scrolls: Arena first launched on PCs back on March 25, 1994. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind made its debut on PCs and the Xbox in 2002.
