The final announcement made during Ubisoft’s E3 2017 presentation involved a long awaited game. Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been officially revealed. Rather than a sequel, it is a prequel to the 2003 PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox, and PC game.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is set in System 3 during the 24th century. It is a trade hub. Unfortunately, corruption runs rampant, as corporations create Hybrid slaves to do their bidding. Players will follow a group of pirates as they work to become a captain and find freedom.

A new Beyond Good and Evil 2 program has been announced. Ubisoft Montpellier is inviting fans to participate in the Space Monkey Program. This means people will have an impact on the development of the game by voicing their opinions as the team makes the game.
