With the Nintendo Switch arriving in March 2017, some developers and publishers are beginning to comment on the likelihood of their upcoming games appearing on the Switch. Stevivor interviewed BioWare’s Michael Gamble, the Mass Effect series producer, and asked if Mass Effect: Andromeda would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Gamble’s reply? “Yeah, not right now, no. We’re not planning on it. If the Switch launches and everyone’s just yammering for Mass Effect, who knows. We never want to close doors like that.”
Gamble also commented on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Project Scorpio Mass Effect: Andromeda releases. In January or February, he says BioWare will open up and talk more about the PlayStation 4 Pro enhancements. However, he said the developer has “absolutely no plans right now” regarding Project Scorpio enhancements.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the first half of 2017. New gameplay footage will be shown during NVidia’s CES 2017 keynote on January 4, 2017.
