Bishoujo Terry Bogard Female and Mai Shiranui Figures Shown

Back in March 2021, Kotobukiya announced that it would release Bishoujo figures of heroines from The King of Fighters ’98 and SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. Initially, only a KOF 98 Mai Shiranui Bishoujo figure ended up confirmed. Now at MegaHobby Expo 2021, it appeared alongside the reveal of the second. The Mai Shiranui painted prototype showed up with an August 2022 launch window. She was joined by a confirmation that the female version of Terry Bogard will be the first SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy Bishoujo figure. First, here’s a closer look at this version of Mai Shiranui. There’s a close up on her face and upper body, as well as a full body photo. Kotobukiya also offered updated Shunya Yamashita art with the new release window.

Here’s the full concept art of the Terry Bogard (female) Bishoujo figure. In addition to the Shunya Yamashita art, there’s an additional image that shows how it came to be. It shows the model of Terry from SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. Then, it puts the art for the figure next to it. The Bishoujo The King of Fighters ’98 figure of Mai Shiranui will launch in August 2022. The Bishoujo SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy Terry Bogard (female) figure will appear in 2023.
