Bishoujo Transformers Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker Figures Shown

There won’t just be one new Transformers Bishoujo figure of Starscream, as Skywarp and Thundercracker will join her. Kotobukiya revealed the prototype art for the additional two characters, as well as an unpainted prototype of Starscream, ahead of the 2023 San Diego Comic Con. There’s no release window for any of them yet.

First, here’s the official Shunya Yamashita art of the upcoming Bishoujo Transformers Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker figures. Skywarp and Thundercracker will be variants of Starscream. This means they’ll share the same pose, only the paint jobs will be different. However, each figure will have a different facial expression. (The same thing happened with Nemesis Prime.)

As for the Starscream prototype, two photos appeared online of it. Only her eyes are painted at both. However, for those of us at SDCC 2023, she’ll be on display at the Kotobukiya both for closer inspection.

We first learned Starscream would join the collection at Anime Expo 2023. At the time, only the initial concept art for the character appeared.

There’s no release date for the Starscream, Skywarp, or Thundercracker Bishoujo Transformers figures yet. However, as the Starscream unpainted prototype appeared and the other two are variants, it’s likely we’ll see that one show up first sometime in 2024.
