bit Generations takes the GBA out with a bang

This article is over 18 years old and may contain outdated information

While Atlus USA still has a sizable catalog of Game Boy Advance titles like Summon Night and Yggdra Union coming out later this year, there are few GBA games being developed in Japan. On the end of the GBA’s life span is Nintendo’s retro style bit Generations (formally known as the Digiluxe series). The bit Generations titles don’t look like other GBA games, since the series opts for simplistic graphics. Even the gameplay has been simplified to make easy to play puzzle games. In Dialhex players rotate hexagon pieces to make a solid color hexagon and Boundish is sort of like pong. Watch this video of the bit Generations series.

The first three come out on July 13th:

Dialhex

Boundish

Dostream

The other four debut on July 27th:

Coloris

Sound Voyager

Orbital

Digidrive

No official announcement has been made about a US release, but some of the games have ESRB ratings so there is a fair chance bit Generations could come to the USA later on.
