Kyoto-based developer Vitei has announced its next game. It’s called Fractures and is a cross-dimensional puzzle game.

“You are a child who has been transported into a strange world by an unknown power,” reads the game’s description on its BitSummit page. Not only is the world strange that this child wanders but it is also broken into pieces. Your task is to use portals to unite elements across the various parts of the “hauntingly beautiful landscape” to solve puzzles.

That’s about all that’s known so far, however, the concept art (below) indicates that these “elements” you’ll reunite are earthly elements such as fire and water.

Vitei will be talking about Fractures in more detail at BitSummit 2015 following its success last year with “The Modern Zombie Taxi Driver,” which was crowned the winner of the Vermillion Gate award at BitSummit 2014.
