After getting its first content update on February 10th, Blade & Soul is due its second lot on March 2nd, adding a new class and new dungeons.

The update is called “Unchained,” which is a title that probably refers to the arrival of the new Warlock class. Available for the Jin and Lyn races, the Warlock uses dark shadowy magic at mid-range, ensnaring enemies, unleashing fast combos, and finishing them off by summoning a demonic Thrall to finish them off.

The “Unchained” update will also bring an additional character slot to bring it to a maximum of eight. So if you do want to create a Warlock class then there’s a free slot for it, effectively.

The final floor of the first section of Mushin’s Tower will also be unlocked in this update. Floor 8 will see you taking on an ethereal manifestation of Mushin himself in a Heroic single player encounter.

Finally, the Naryu Labyrinth will be added, which is a Heroic dungeon available in both six and four player versions. More specifically, it’s a three stage encounter with next area unlocking at random after each victory, meaning it’s a different sequence of challenges every time you play.
