Blazblue: Continuum Shift Release Not Shifted, Still Summer [Update]

Aksys slyly announced a Blazblue: Continuum Shift delay. When they confirmed a North American release the game was slated for summer.

Tucked away in the press release for the arcade stick was a new release window – fall 2010. Arc System Works still has Blazblue: Continuum Shift listed for July 1.

We’re not sure why the game way delayed, but if we hear anything back from Aksys we’ll update this post.

Update: False alarm. I contacted Aksys about the press release which read, “Aksys Games, a publisher of interactive entertainment products, proudly announces BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, coming Fall 2010!” A representative from Aksys said the release date was a typo and we’re still on for Summer 2010.
