BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Adds RWBY’s Blake Belladonna Via DLC, Releases June 5 In North America

Arc System Works announced that the upcoming crossover 2D fighter, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle will release in Japan and Asia on May 31 and North America on June 5, 2018 for PS4, Switch, and PC.

 

The above is a look at a new trailer courtesy Persona Central that was shown during the Arc System Works Fighting Game Award 2017 tournament.

RWBY’s Blake Belladonna was announced as a new character who will join the game via DLC.

There will be a total of 40 characters (20 from the base game and 20 from DLC). Starting with Blake, Arc System Works will add 20 more DLC characters. Here’s a look at the DLC we’ll see:

And lastly, Arc System Works announced a limited edition “BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Limited Box” that comes with a variety of goodies, all in a special collaboration box with artwork by Tochimichi Mori of Arc System Works, Shigenori Soejima of Atlus, Seiichi Yoshihara of French-Bread, and Edin Lee of Rooster Teeth:
