Blue Prince – Utility Room Code Solution

When you first start playing Blue Prince, you will notice that a certain dead end room appears very commonly in the first few ranks of the game. The Utility Room has a number of purposes, and some are more obvious than others. If you’re looking for what the different colored lights in the Blue Prince Utility Room code mean, then we have everything you need to know.

How do I find the Blue Prince Utility Room code?

Aside from playing around with the lights in the Utility Room, we’ll first find out about the code in the Study. There is a note explaining how to change the color of the lights to purple, then to white. These are the hardest colors to make and require you to click the light next to it to change it to purple. You need to change the lights one at a time down the line to change everything to purple. This means pressing a blue light to change the two next to it to purple. This then allows you to change the lights to white.

While the Study will tell you how to change the lights, it won’t give you the code. Instead you need to draft the Office and also have access to the terminal password. Note that even if you have access to the Office Server via Blackbridge Grotto, this will not allow you to access the email that you need. Log on at the computer in the Office, enter the terminal password and access the emails this will allow you to find the Utility Room code.

How do I use the Utility Room Code in Blue Prince?

Once you have the code, you need to draft the Utility Room. Unlike some other Blue Prince puzzles, you don’t need to draft this room on the same day as you draft the Study or the Office. Input the colored lights from left to right. You will know that you did it correctly as the wall will slide open behind the control panel. Once the wall has opened you will see a lever you can pull. Pull it to unlock a permanent upgrade that allows you to unlock two gems at the start of each run.
