Bones Making Anime Cutscenes For Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney

Bones, the animation studio behind Fullmetal Alchemist and Eureka Seven, is making anime cutscenes for Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney. The news comes from the tenth anniversary Phoenix Wright event where Level-5 CEO Akihiko Hino took the stage and showed a scene of Phoenix Wright traveling to London.

While Phoenix and Maya are flying to London, the Nintendo 3DS game takes place in a medieval world where where magic "exists." A young girl named Mahoney is accused of being a witch when flames burst from the ground. In a hands-on demo of Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, I played as Capcom’s famous lawyer and pressed several witness at once using the game’s witch trial system.
