Borderlands developer Gearbox has been teasing what appears to be a possible Borderlands 3 announcement with a date of March 28 and location of Boston, Massachusetts, shown in a new teaser image. Gearbox shared the image over at Twitter. It shows a highway sign that was made using Borderlands’ signature cel-shaded style. It reads March 28, Boston, MA, and that is where Gearbox is expected to partake a main theater show at PAX East 2019. A description for the event says the following:
“This is your opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at Gearbox Software and Gearbox Publishing, along with the latest news and updates from the makers of Borderlands, Battleborn, Brothers in Arms, and more! We will have never-before-seen reveals, exclusives, and surprises, so don’t miss out!”
It’s also worth noting that the sign says “Exit 3” as another possible tease for the third installment of open-world action RPG shooter.
