Bravely Default has some crossover superbosses from Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light. “Since they’re monsters you’ll be getting as content from outside the game, we’re currently thinking about how strong they should be,” said producer Tomoya Asano. “We’re thinking about having their strength match the current progress of the player. In the end, we plan on having monsters who are even stronger than the ‘Adventurers’.”
Beelzebub is one of the guest enemies.
Mammon has an attack that drains brave points (BP), which is kind of like stealing turns. Here’s a little bit on how the Brave and Default battle system works.
Lucifer has strong attacks that can hit the whole party like the sword swipe attack the Iron Giant from other Final Fantasy games uses.
Lucifer also has powerful magic spells like Aeroja and a powerful physical counter attack called Another Face that hit Tiz for 9,999 damage.
The Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light superbosses aren’t regular encounters. All three will enter your game through the Internet and attack a town that you can rebuild through StreetPasses. If you don’t connect your 3DS online you can still fight these enemies by StreetPassing another player that has them.
Square Enix also made new costumes for Bravely Default: For the Sequel and a code included with the game unlocks these outfits.
