Bubsy: Paws On Fire Is Delayed On The Nintendo Switch, But Not On the PlayStation 4 Or PC

The bobcat people may love, or just love to hate, isn’t going to appear on all platforms at once at the same time. Choice Provisions has revealed that one version won’t be making its May 16, 2019 launch date. The Nintendo Switch Bubsy game will not appear that day. It now has a more general Summer 2019 release window.   The exact details for the delay were not explained. A need for “final adjustments” was mentioned in the press released. Also, Mike Roush, the Co-Founder of Choice Provisions, provided a statement in it that said, “The Switch version of Bubsy: Paws on Fire is in great shape, we’re in the final push on some non-gameplay aspects on Switch.” This could mean it is more of a production-level issue.   The PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game both will not be affected by the delay. They will be out on May 16, 2019. The former will be available both digitally and physically, while the PC release is going to only be available digitally online.   As a reminder, this Bubsy title will have the main character and three other playable heroes facing off against The Woolies in 140 levels. For example, Oinker, Terri, Terry, and Virgil Reality will all appear. There are three worlds total, each with their own boss, and you can eventually earn different costumes for characters and attempt to place on leaderboards.   Bubsy: Paws on Fire will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC on May 16, 2019. It will make its Nintendo Switch debut in Summer 2019. This is actually the second delay, as the first pushed the game back from April 2019 to May.
