Butt-Sliding Platformer Action Henk Is Speeding To Consoles

Curve Digital is bringing RageSquid’s competitive platformer Action Henk to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, and Wii U soon.

It has you playing as an overweight action figure called Henk who tries to prove that he’s still got what it takes to beat his rival Dr. Kentony. This involves racing across a child’s bedroom in several levels to get as fast a time as possible. Henk is able to wall jump, use a grappling hook, and butt slide down hills to get as much speed as possible – it’s all about keeping up momentum.

There are 70 tracks across different environments with online leaderboards, five playable characters and unlockable costumes (including a Sonic costume), medals to beat, and a full-fledged level editor.

You may recall that Action Henk was previously released on PC and, at the time, Siliconera spoke to RageSquid about the design of the game. It seems that there won’t be any big changes made between the PC version and the upcoming console versions.
