Square Enix and TBI launched a Dragon Quest-themed cafe in Tokyo’s Shibuya district called Dragon Quest Super Light Cafe. It opened for the first time on April 28th at 4pm (via RocketNews).

Inside you can purchase a number of dishes that are made to resemble characters and monsters from the Dragon Quest games. There’s a Metal Slime Risotto, and Egudorashiru Salad, and a drink amusingly called Psaro the Manslayer Kahlua & Milk. You can have a look at the images below.

Before that, though, what’s worth noting is that this cafe has been set-up to celebrate the launch of Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light. It’s a smartphone game that has you raising monsters to go on adventures, entering into battles, and it also has online features such as multiplayer questing. But this is more than a thematic tie-in, as purchasing food at the cafe earns you in-game items such as gold, keys, maps, and monster eggs.

You can download Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light on the Japanese App Store and Google Play for free.
