Capcom “hunting” for video game creators

This article is over 16 years old and may contain outdated information

If you’re in Japan and have the skills to go along with the dream of working in the video game industry Capcom is looking for you. Yeah, this doesn’t apply to most Siliconera readers, but Capcom has a surreal recruiting method. The Osaka based publisher set up an alternate reality blog called Creator Hunter with a bunch of “traps” to catch video game creators. The unnamed Creator Hunter uses soft mattresses with floating baskets and beer as lures. Each trap attracts a different “species” of creator. The page is written in Japanese, but you can see pictures of the crudely drawn traps that the Creator Hunter uses as recruiting tools. Very snarky and progressive Capcom!
