Underwater monster hunting will cross international waters because Monster Hunter 3 is heading to North America and Europe. A statement from Capcom caught by our commenters explains, “One of our leading titles is ‘Monster Hunter 3 (tri-).’ If we can gain recognition of this product in the European and North American markets, our market strategy will see a noticeable change.”
Not shocking, but it’s good to hear Capcom go on record and acknowledge Monster Hunter 3 for regions other than Japan where it comes out this summer. Before Capcom domestically releases Monster Hunter 3 they have another Monster Hunter game for us, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (aka Monster Hunter 2G) for the PSP.
