Capcom "Considering" Cooperating With Namco Bandai At Arcades

The quote is from Capcom’s 1st quarter report of fiscal year 2010. No other details were given. There are a number of ways the companies could collaborate. Making crossover games (Namco X Capcom: Retro Age of Heroes anyone?) is certainly one of them, but this could also be related to medal machines with Pac-Man and Mega Man reels.

 

It is interesting to see these competing companies, both of which own arcades, link up. Are arcades in Japan doing that bad? Capcom’s next amusement machine is Mario Party Fushigi no Korokoro Catcher, which the company claims is a “major title.”
