Concept art for games often highlights things that don’t make it into the final game. This is the case for the latest three pieces of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker concept art, which were released by the Nintendo Spain Twitter account. While Captain Toad and Toadette obviously feature heavily in them, we also see one piece with the green Sprixie Princess.   No Sprixie Princesses appear in the main Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker game. However, people who played the Wii U version of the game might recall a scene in the ending that offered a brief cameo. (This ending is different in the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch versions.)   In the one concept art piece, we see Captain Toad and the green Sprixie Princess on a minecart with some treasure, while Wingo watches in the background. In another, we see Toadette reaching for a mushroom while Captain Toad and Draggadon are behind her. Finally, the third piece has Captain Toad acquiring a Power Star.   D0Pwv6CWsAE8zX7 D0PwvAsX4AAdbv9   Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is available for the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Wii U. The Nintendo Switch version’s February 13, 2019 update added co-op, and its Special Episode DLC will be released on March 14, 2019.
