The Nintendo Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is getting two major updates. Two player cooperative multiplayer is being added to the game today for free. Then, in March 2019, it will get a paid Special Episode DLC.

The local co-op will work with all levels. Once people update the game later today, they can play with a friend.

The Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Special Episode will arrive on March 14, 2019. It will include 18 new challenges on five new courses. This will be paid, and people who purchase it early can access one now.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is available for the Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo 3DS. Only the Nintendo Switch version is getting new content.
