SuperGroupies opened up pre-orders for collaboration merchandise of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card. Pre-orders will end on September 16, 2025.
Like it or not, Cardcaptor Sakura is generally considered a retro series these days. It started serialization in 1996, and the original anime adaptation started in 1998. Perhaps due to the longevity of Cardcaptor Sakura and its popularity, the goods from SuperGroupies are somewhat nostalgic. You can get a secret watch with the Sealing Wand on the cover, three different phone straps, and a reversible clear bag chock-full of cutesy motifs.
Here are the prices for all the items:
- Clear bag: 5280 JPY
- Secret watch: 24,200 JPY
- Smartphone strap: 6050 JPY
The smartphone straps are the longer kind that you can wear around your body. You can adjust the length if it’s too long for you. They resemble a long pearl necklace with charms like bows, Kero’s head, and the Sealing Wand. The tab that goes inside your phone case resembles a Clow, Sakura, or Clear card (depending on which one you get), so it’s best to use this with a clear case to show off the design.
The Cardcaptor Sakura merchandise from SuperGroupies will be available for pre-order until September 16, 2025. As a reminder, SuperGroupies does offer international delivery via its website, so you don’t need to find a separate proxy service if you live outside of Japan.
