FuRyu announced a new game for the Cardfight!! Vanguard trading card game series with Cardfight!! Vanguard EX for PS4 and Switch, featuring an original protagonist and familiar characters.

The game features an original story with a brand-new character named Izuru Shidou (guy on the right) as the protagonist. In the game he encounters the likes of Aichi Sendou, the main protagonist of the Cardfight!! Vanguard anime and manga.
As for the gameplay, it plays with the same rules as the trading card game. It has tutorials thrown in the story, so those who are new to the series or “returning fighters” playing for the first time in a while should have no trouble. After clearing the game there are some post-story elements for players to check out.
Cardfight!! Vanguard EX releases in Japan in Fall 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
