During Summer Game Fest 2026, Konami and Evil Empire revealed the release date for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. It will show up on October 15, 2026. There is also a new trailer showing what to expect from the Metroidvania.
The Summer Game Fest 2026 trailer for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse focused on showing Rose in her fight against Dracula’s minions. Voice over from a number of enemies appears during it. Many of them referencing the fact that she’s a girl or that they want to collect a Belmont as a pet. We get a better look at some of the environments and opponents we’ll face.
Here’s the new Summer Game Fest 2026 trailer for the new Castlevania game. At the end of the trailer, we can see the new key art from Katsuya “Rakugakingu” Terada, who is known for working on The Legend of Zelda and Wizardry designs.
As a reminder, Evil Empire already is familiar with the Castlevania series, in a way. The Dead Cells developer worked on a Castlevania-themed crossover expansion for that other title with Konami’s blessing in the past.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will come to the Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 15, 2026.
