Konami wants to invite you to a multiplayer vampire hunting party on August 4. That’s the day Castlevania: Harmony of Despair makes its way on to Xbox Live Arcade.
Soma Cruz, Shanoa, and Alucard are some of the classic characters you’ll see in Harmony of Despair. You can team up with three friends, online of off, and hunt Dracula together with new cooperative attacks. Or, if you’re the competitive type, choose survival mode to see who whips through more of Dracula’s minions.
After launch, Konami plans to release extra characters and stages. Details, including the price of DLC, was not announced. Castlevania: Harmony of Despair costs 1,200 Microsoft Points ($15) and it’s developed by Koji Igarashi, Producer of the portable 2D Castlevania games.
