Microsoft has another Xbox Live double header coming tomorrow with Catan leading the charge. Catan is a recreation of the European board game, Settlers of Catan, where players arrive on an island and seek to colonize it. Big Huge Games, who also develops the Rise of Nations games, took the task of converting Settlers of Catan from a board game to an Xbox Live title. They added in features such as online play through Xbox Live and a tutorial to familiarize new players with the rules.
Also coming out tomorrow is a double game package with two remade Atari classics, Centipede and Millipede. Both games have the original arcade versions and new “evolved” modes with upgraded graphics. You can get the Centipede/Millipede package for 400 points, but your money is probably better spent picking up Catan for 800 points.
