Cave Story 3D Is Just As Fast As You Remember It

Nicalis took the challenge of bringing Studio Pixel’s platformer into the third dimension. For nostalgic value, Quote’s sprite is in the game too, but the world remains in 3D. It looks like Nicalis got the pace of Cave Story down pat in 3D. This trailer shows Quote hopping and shooting around the same speed as the original version for PC.

Cave Story 3D has some new features for fans like extra areas, new music, and perhaps a NIS America cameo character. Cave Story 3D will be available for Nintendo 3DS on November 8.
