Indie game classic Cave Story is coming to another platform, thanks to Nicalis. Shortly after Nintendo Power announced Cave Story for DSiWare, Nintendo Life posted screenshots of it.

Compared to the WiiWare version, also handled by Nicalis, Cave Story for DSiWare uses the classic graphics. The bottom screen is home for a map, weapon screen, and text boxes. Nicalis added a boss rush, a time attack mode, and made Curly Brace a playable character for WiiWare. It’s unclear if those additions will be in the DSiWare release.
A release date for Cave Story on DSiWare has not been announced.
