Cave has announced that its next mobile shooter Mahouotome will be released in Japan for iOS and Android on April 16th.

Alongside this news, Cave also released a new video that shows the game in action, as you can see above.

Mahouotome features a number of playable magic maidens that are trying to save the world using the power of love. You guide each maiden around the screen with your finger to dodge incoming bullets. They all have two types of shot to take down smaller, mobile enemies and the bigger bosses.

You can pre-register for Mahouotome by submitting an email address on its official website.
