People will have a new option when watching Cells at Work season 2 on Funimation, as the English dub is about to debut. Aniplex announced it will appear on the streaming service on April 29, 2021.
The announcement also included a cast list confirmation. The major cast members will reprise their roles. This means people would still see people like Cherami Leigh as Red Blood Cell, Billy Kametz as White Blood Cell, Laura Post as Macrophage, Robbie Daymond as Killer T Cell, and Xanthe Huynh as Platelet. The season follows the continuing adventures of different cells inside a person’s body as they deal with situations to keep things running.
There’s also a way to hear the English Cells at Work season 2 dub without heading to Funimation. Aniplex shared a new trailer. It highlights each English voice actor. The localized theme song “GO! GO! CELL FESTIVAL” also plays during it. (In the Japanese version, the cast sang the theme.)
As a reminder, the English dub of the first season also did something similar with its theme song. The English cast rerecorded it as well.
The Cells at Work is available to watch via services like Crunchyroll and Funimation. Cells at Work: Code Black is also available to watch via both Crunchyroll and Funimation.
