Chain Blaster Is Like The Every Extend Extra Of Bullet Hell Shooters

Chain Blaster from G-Style looks and sounds pretty neat. It’s a vertical shoot ’em and your ship fires chain blasts. When this detonates all connected enemy ships in a formation blow up. It’s kind of like the chaining mechanic in Every Extend Extra, but in Chain Blaster you have to weave through a screen full of bullets. When things get out of control you can use Overdrive to go into slow motion.

Chain Blaster keeps track of the best virus cleaners through its online leader boards. The game has two ships—Sagittarius and, for advanced players, Orion. Chain Blaster comes out next week for Nintendo 3DS as a 700 yen ($7) eShop download.
