Good Smile Company will make a figma figure of Yaniko “Yanineko” Satou now that the Chainsmoker Cat manga and anime adaptation are in full swing. This is very early in development, as the manufacturer only confirmed work started on it on social media. As such, there’s no release window for the articulated figure yet.
Since this is such an early announcement, there isn’t any prototype figure photo indicating how the Chainsmoker Cat Yanineko figma will look. Instead, the announcement only included a piece of character art of the heroine of the series. She’s shown wearing her oversized t-shirt, sweatpants, and Crocs shoes in the teaser. Also, as usual, she’s smoking a cigarette and is preparing to light it with a lighter.
Here’s that official teaser image:

This is a fairly recent manga and anime series. NyanNyanFactory kicked it off back in 2023, and Seven Seas picked it up back in 2025. It’s a comedic slice of life series that follows the cat beastfolk character Yanineko with both dark and crude humor. As the title suggests, she’s a heavy smoker, and the show tends to focus on her that and her other vices and issues affect the lives of her and everyone around her. The anime started running in 2026, with there being both a clean version that appears on TV in Japan and the anything goes version that is streaming on services like Netflix.
The Chainsmoker Cat Yanineko figma figure is in development, the anime is streaming on Netflix in North America, and the manga is handled by Seven Seas in English.
