Change History In Neptunia V To Change Your CPU Powers

Neptunia V takes place in the 1980s, technically before any of the other games in the series. You still play as Neptune and the story begins when she travels through time back to the past.

Neptune has the power to change history and certain events change what abilities the CPUs get. Players can also design costumes for the console goddesses using the game’s Costume Canvas feature.

One of the main new features in Neptunia V is the game’s informant system. When you talk to the citizens of Gamindustri you can choose to believe them or not. Your decision changes how the game progresses and may alter items or unlock a dungeon.

Neptunia V comes out on August 30 for PlayStation 3 in Japan.
