Chasm finally has a solid release window. On the PlayStation Blog, Bit Kid Inc.’s James Petruzzi confirmed that the 2D Metroidvania following a Guildean knight named Daltyn attempting to delve into an unsettling mine in Karthas will come to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Summer 2018. While it does not have an exact release date, it will be a cross-buy title.
Chasm first launched on Kickstarter on April 12, 2013, where it ended up raising $191,897 from 6,938 people. At the time, the estimated delivery date was sometime in May 2014. Demos and trailers were released along the way, the game showed up at events like E3 and it appeared on PlayStation 4 demo kiosks in Best Buy and Targets. Updates arrived less frequently over the years, but it hit the alpha phase in May 2017, four years after its Kickstarter.
Chasm is coming to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC.
