So, we’ve all seen the “retro-spective trailer” for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, that retold the events from the Final Fantasy XIII saga in SNES fashion. Square Enix recently gave Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn some 16-bit love in their latest Letter from the Producer, with a retro version of Titan’s Extreme Mode fight.

Similar to the retro-spective trailer for Final Fantasy XIII, Square Enix made Titan’s Extreme Mode fight look like it came straight out of the Super Famicom, and even went as far as replicating Titan’s moves from the fight.

Funny enough, the trailer even shows the Dragoon being the only one to fall off the edge, which I’m sure some of you guys may have seen at least once or twice (or countless times) for the fight.

Additionally, Square Enix also shared a special Eorzea Collection 2014 Spring video with special guests such as Cid and other key characters dancing off to the Final Fantasy II battle theme song remix featured in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is currently available on PC and PlayStation 3. The PlayStation 4 version will be released on April 14, 2014.
